This coming weekend will be quiet. Carrie is at a craft retreat with her friends, and it’s just met and the cats. I’m going to use the time to be quiet and be a homebody. I have a few things to do around the house, but mainly I am going to get my run in on Saturday, and just try to get caught up on… I’m not even sure what.
We are going to go see Spiderman on Sunday night after she gets back, and I’m super excited for that. It will be a great way to end the weekend of being apart with a fun movie together. I’ve heard good things, so we’ll see.
I had thought about going fishing, but goodness, it’s just too hot. And it’s not being out on the boat, it’s the getting the boat to and from the water. Having to strip the kayak completely down, get it on top of the Bronco Sport, then do the whole thing in reverse at the water, and then do the whole whole thing in reverse on the way home… it’s one thing when it’s nice outside. It’s another thing when it’s 100 degrees. I am considering getting a trailer which would allow me to tow the kayak, and also to leave all the stuff on it. That would save immense time and effort when I want to go fishing.
